The handle is made with a 1 1/4″ fiberglass tube, with a 15/16″ wood dowel inside for added support at the head. The steel head is the Industry Standard, although standard in dimensions, it is mig welded for superior strength. The heel is made with 11 gauge steel plate, measuring 3″ x 10 1/2″.
